Samilyn Australian Shepherds

Samilyn Australian Shepherds became a family affair in 1989, with our first Aussie, Peabody, a pretty black tri boy with tons of attitude. Like they say, we couldn't stop with just one . . . . Our goal in breeding is a versatile Aussie who is healthy with sound temperament, structure, and movement, in a pleasing package. We primarily show in conformation, juniors, and obedience.

In 1998, Samantha and Lindsey, began showing in Juniors. At ten and eight years old, they each got Best Junior Handler wins (and many more since then through AKC, ASCA, and UKC)! Each of our girls is responsible for exercising, feeding, and taking care of her own dog and they love cuddling together at night. The girls are also responsible for playing with our new puppies every day, which helps in the puppies' socialization. Samantha , Lindsey , and Courtney are an integral part of and the reason for Samilyn Aussies.

We moved to the country in 1999, and the girls, Aussies, cats, birds, and I just love it out here! In 2001, we added our newest junior handler, Courtney.

To support my children and dogs, I have worked as an attorney, representing low to moderate income people. My practice includes dog law, tax law, criminal law, and juvenile law. In my spare time, I play around with websites.

Puppies and young adults are available, to approved homes, and stud service is available to approved bitches.

Please feel free to contact us for more information--we would love to hear from you!
